Most people know that there are a couple of categories in which dentistry falls into. Most people have had restorative dentistry. That is used when we return your teeth to the state they used to be in so they feel, look and work as if nothing happened to them.

But Ashburn cosmetic dentistry is merely an attempt to help you have a better smile.

The bottom line is that restorative dentistry is for when you are in pain and cosmetic dentistry is done for the beauty factor.

Do me a favor. Take a close look at this picture of Peter Frampton. You may be too young to remember, but our Peter released an album many years ago that made him a huge star around the world. Unusually for a live album, it sold 16 million copies.

Frampton scored his success in 1976, when there wasn't a music store, club or dance hall you could go to without the strains of Peter Frampton and songs from his album Frampton Comes Alive.

Why so much about Peter Frampton? Well, I really think the singer has some good teeth and even though I've not really taken a close look or performed any work on him, he may have had veneer treatment or these may be completely real teeth we are looking at.

We have never performed Herndon dental veneers on Mr. Frampton's teeth but it is possible to do something. The first thing would be to get rid of gaps unless there was nothing to close up. If it was you in the dental chair, I would make your front teeth uniform in color, so that the front teeth are even.
